Last Wednesday we had some very famous people visit our school: thirteen people from the Reformation stopped by to tell us a little bit about their roles during this time period. On Saturday, we had a joint Reformation service with seven local Reformed churches. We had around 300 people come from all parts of the city. Bill Green gave a talk about the history of the Reformation, and we heard a sermon on Sola Scriptura from Erick Rosales, pastor of Los Lagos Reformed Baptist Church.

Andrés, sixth grade teacher, played the role of a person who was searching for the real John Calvin. He said that he was John Calvin´s number one fan, and he heard that John Calvin was going to be speaking at our school.

Donald, Bible teacher and 8th grade home room teacher, was Ulrich Zwingli.

Nick, Bible and philosophy teacher, was John Huss.

Flora, computer teacher, was Martin Luther.

Dina, second grade teacher, was Marguerite de Navarre.

Athael, fifth grade teacher, was the granddaughter of Isabella I.

Andrés was William Farel.

Didier, social studies teacher, was Guido de Bres.

Daniel Lobo, high school English teacher, was Cipriano de Valera.

Lester, Bible teacher and 10th grade home room teacher, was Casiodoro de Reino. Casiodoro and Cipriano were two of the key people who worked on translating the Bible into Spanish.

Haniah, graphic designer at the print shop, was Katharina von Bora.

Giselle, vice-principal and Spanish/Bible teacher, was Catherine de Medici.

Xinia, secretary at the print shop, was Bloody Mary. She scared a lot of the kids in pre-school.
