Last weekend Arnie and I took a trip to Nicaragua to see some of the sights and to deliver some books for CLIR. Tuesday was Independence Day for all of Central America, so we didn't have classes on Monday or Tuesday. On Sunday, we were able to worship at a Reformed church that has close ties with the churches in Costa Rica. The church is called the Peniel Reformed Church, and they run a Christian elementary school with around 150 students. We also took a tour of Managua, went to the artesian market in Masaya, and took a ferry to the Island of Ometepe.
