Acto Civico

Last Tuesday we had a school gathering celebrating the anniversary of the annexation of the Guanacaste province to Costa Rica. Most of the elementary students and teachers dressed up in traditional Costa Rican clothing; then the students sang songs about their country and performed various dances. All of the teachers got together and sang a song called "Yo soy Tico" (I am a Costa Rican).
